BACON & SHRIMP LOLLIPOPS

This play on surf and turf is perfect party food, so keep this recipe in your back pocket for when you’re hosting or going to a friend’s house!

INGREDIENTS

6 pieces bacon (thin-cut works best)

6 jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined

2 wooden or metal skewers

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 :

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 2 hours to avoid any splinters. Preheat the broiler of your oven.

STEP 2 :

Use one piece of bacon to wrap around one shrimp (imagine you’re looping a piece of ribbon around a ring) to cover it completely. Repeat with the remaining bacon and shrimp.

STEP 3 :

Add three pieces to each skewer, sliding the skewer through the shrimp lengthwise (instead of right through the center). Place on a rimmed sheet
pan.

STEP 4:

Broil 4 to 5 minutes, until browned. Turn and broil 4 to 5 minutes more until cooked through. Serve hot.
